Frequently Asked Questions
-
I work primarily with men and women over 35 who want to build strength, lose body fat and feel better in their bodies - without extreme diets or unrealistic training routines.
Clients come from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels, from complete beginners to those who’ve trained before but feel stuck or unsure how to progress.
-
No. You don’t need any prior fitness experience to start.
All coaching is tailored to your current ability, confidence and experience level. Training progresses at a pace that’s right for you, focusing on building strength and confidence gradually.
-
Many clients I work with have tried multiple approaches before and struggled with consistency or progress.
My role is to remove guesswork and provide clear structure. Coaching starts with an in-depth consultation to understand your goals, lifestyle, training history and the barriers that have made progress difficult in the past.
From there, I create a personalised plan and adapt it over time, providing ongoing support, accountability and honest guidance so progress feels achievable and sustainable.
-
Progress looks different for everyone and depends on consistency, starting point and individual goals.
Most clients notice improvements in strength, energy and confidence within the first few weeks, with visible physical changes developing over time. The focus is always on long-term progress rather than quick fixes.
-
Yes. Coaching is designed to fit around real life.
Training plans are built to be realistic and flexible, taking work, family and other commitments into account. When life gets busy, the plan adapts - consistency always comes before perfection.

Yes. All programmes are adapted to suit injuries, limitations and medical considerations.

-
Every programme is tailored to your current ability and confidence level.
You’ll never be asked to do exercises you’re not ready for. Training focuses on movements you feel comfortable performing safely, with progress introduced gradually over time.
The goal is to build strength and confidence with a programme you can stick to.

Online coaching is a personalised, ongoing coaching service delivered remotely.
After an initial consultation and onboarding process, I design a training plan based on your goals, experience, lifestyle and available equipment. Programmes are adjusted over time based on progress and feedback.
Nutrition support is provided in a realistic, sustainable way, with clear calorie targets and guidance. Progress is tracked through regular check-ins, photos and measurements where appropriate.
Coaching is ongoing and adaptive, with support and accountability throughout.

No. Programmes are built around what you have access to.
This could be a gym, a home setup or no equipment at all. If additional equipment would be genuinely beneficial for your goals, I’ll make clear and practical recommendations - nothing is required unless it adds value.
