WHO DO YOU TRAIN?

I help individuals aged 30+ to achieve their fitness goals and regain body confidence with a sustainable and healthy approach.

A free consultation helps me decipher your goals, and the analysis I undertake helps me create a customised training programme that suits your body, and a regime that you’re comfortable with.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S NOTE OR SIMILAR?

All clients must complete a PAR-Q before commencing any exercise programme.

This is a Physical Readiness Questionnaire which can be accessed via my app; it will help to identify any health restrictions.

As such I may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge you for this.

All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential.

what should I wear?

Clothes should be fit for purpose – comfortable and non-restrictive.

Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support.

I’VE STRUGGLED WITH MY WEIGHT AND FITNESS FOR A LONG TIME, HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

The purpose of a personal trainer is to provide a specific programme based on underpinning expert knowledge.

Each client has an initial consultation discussing barriers, objectives and goals in preparation to beginning training.

The barriers to achieving your goals are just as important, so we can identify these and look at ways at overcoming them.

It is my job to both advise and motivate you to maintain your full commitment to the programme and to continually adapt and progress your programme to keep you interested and focused on achieving your goals.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER FOR MOBILE PERSONAL TRAINING?

I currently cover the following areas;

WHAT DAYS AND TIMES CAN I BOOK IN for 1-1 Personal Training?

I understand people live busy lives so my days and hours are flexible to suit all needs.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A 1-1 Personal Training SESSION?

A minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation is required for all sessions.

Notice of less than 24 hours will incur full payment of the session fee.

WHERE DOES THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

1-1 Personal Training (Mobile) - this takes place in a location convenient for both you and I. I will try to find somewhere in the middle of both postcodes for ease.

1-1 Personal Training (Gym) - this takes place in a private gym, located in UB9.

Online Coaching - this takes place via my app and is undertaken in your own time.

HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY?

All payments must be made by cash/bank transfer (BACS). The only exception to this is payments for online coaching, which must be paid for via credit/debit card via my app. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

1-1 Personal Training - A 25% deposit must be paid to secure your booking via bank transfer (BACS). The remaining 75% will be split over the rest of your course in monthly payments, which will need to be paid in cash. These monthly payments must be paid on your first session of each month.

Online Coaching - recurring payments will be taken on a monthly basis via credit/debit card via my app.

DO I NEED TO HAVE GYM ACCESS OR FITNESS EQUIPMENT TO DO online coaching?

No, because each programme is written on a bespoke basis.

I will work with whatever fitness equipment you have available to you.

Where you do not have gym access and are in need of some pieces of equipment to achieve your goal, I will make those recommendations.

WHY AM I DIFFERENT?

I don't just give you the training plans, nutritional guidance and then watch you struggle.

My aim is to have the biggest success rate of people getting in shape. I will show you exactly how to get in shape and keep yourself accountable so you never fail.

WHAT IS THE FREE CONSULTATION AND HOW DO I BOOK?

This is a 30-minute discovery call via ZOOM that includes a health, dietary and lifestyle analysis.

It will give you the opportunity to talk very openly about your goals and objectives, and I can obtain the information required to create a customised training programme for you to achieve them.

It helps me ascertain what exercises work best for you, and what you’re most comfortable with.

WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE to a 1-1 personal training session?

If you are late for a session, the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time.

If I am running late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.

WHAT EXERCISES WILL WE DO? I'M WORRIED THEY'LL BE TOO DIFFICULT.

I carry out all kinds of exercises, but I'll only do the exercises that you feel comfortable doing. 

My job is to find a training programme that you’re happy with and that you’ll stick to in order for you to reach your goal.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR RELATIVE along to train with me?

Yes. I offer small group sessions too.

Whether it’s working out as a couple or bringing up to three friends, I have the package to suit you.

HOW DOES ONLINE coaching WORK?

Online Coaching is a comprehensive fitness coaching service that involves designing a physical training programme and step-by-step nutrition guidance that will help you achieve your goals and transform your body in a timely yet healthy fashion.

Your programme is designed on a bespoke basis, based on you providing me information about your exercise history, current fitness levels and personal logistics (by way of gym access, home fitness equipment, etc).

I will also ask you to upload a 'before' style picture, body measurements and current weight, as this allows me to gauge your current level of muscularity, body fat and of course body type (Meso, Endo, Ecto).

When it comes to nutrition, you'll be provided calorie goals and macro splits that are specific to you. You will also be able to track these easily through my app.
